Tree Poppy Red/Green

Cristabel Fabric01174-01

Tree Poppy Red/Green is a richly patterned floral cotton with entwined branches, layered blooms and soft leafy movement across a pale ground. The red petals read warm and lively against the green foliage, giving the design a classic, decorative character.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a cream-toned background carrying a full-scale floral and tree motif, with poppy reds, soft pinks and fresh greens worked into a busy trailing repeat. The design is printed on 100% cotton fabric and has an approximate width of 133cm, with a large repeat of V 74cm / H 65cm that allows the pattern to make an impact across bigger pieces. The red flowers are vivid but not harsh, softened by the leafy green stems and the scattered smaller blossoms that add movement and depth. It has the look of a smart decorative cotton rather than a flat utility cloth, with enough body for upholstery while still remaining suitable for curtains and soft furnishings. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, cushions or full-length curtains where the red-and-green palette can sit against painted woodwork or simple neutral walls. It works especially well in rooms that can take a traditional floral with a slightly fresh, botanical feel.

Pair with quiet neutrals or leaf green trims to let the vivid blooms lead.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
