About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is composed of 64% viscose, 24% cotton, 5% acrylic, 4% polyester and 3% linen, with an approximate width of 142cm and a repeat of V 74cm / H 71cm. The cloth reads as a richly coloured woven with a noticeable diagonal texture, while the pale gold pattern sits clearly on top of the red ground. The red itself is warm and saturated rather than blue-based, so the floral detail feels brighter and more decorative than sombre. With a fire code of √CM and care code Q 8 < T 3, it is a decorative furnishing fabric suited to statement upholstery where the pattern can be properly shown.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or cushion where the large floral repeat can breathe across the surface. The scarlet ground works especially well with antique wood, deep walnut and softer neutrals that let the gold pattern stand out.
