Colmar Red/Green
Colefax Classics II FabricF3234-01
Colmar Red/Green is a lively floral linen with a gently aged, country-house feel. The cream ground keeps the red blooms and sage stems fresh rather than heavy.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen and measuring approximately 133cm wide, Colmar Red/Green has the breathable, relaxed handle you expect from a decorative linen. The design repeats at approximately V 67cm by H 67cm, giving the large floral motifs room to unfold across drapery or upholstery. In this colourway, the red sits as a softened, slightly dusty crimson against a warm ivory ground, while the green reads as pale sage and leaf. The overall effect is detailed and traditional, with enough freshness in the palette to keep the pattern from feeling dark or formal. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use it on armchairs, box cushions or full-length curtains where the red floral notes can bring warmth to a pale room. It works especially well with painted cream joinery, terracotta accents and natural timber.
Pair with warm neutrals and aged wood to let the red and green embroidery-style print stand out.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Colmar Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
