Casimir Red/Green
Colefax Classics II FabricF4235-01
Casimir Red/Green shows an airy, scrolling floral pattern in vivid rose-reds, mossy greens and soft gold on a pale ground. The overall effect is ornate but fresh, with plenty of movement across the surface.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen and measuring approximately 137cm wide, Casimir Red/Green has the crisp, natural handle expected of a classic furnishing linen. The design is set with a vertical repeat of 73cm in a half drop, and the generous scale gives the floral heads and trailing foliage room to open out across a wider seating or curtain run. The palette combines bright red blooms, olive and sage leaves, and touches of ochre and muted plum, all softened by the light ground so the print feels decorative rather than heavy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.
How to use it
This colourway brings warmth and pattern to upholstered chairs, cushions or a statement banquette, especially against painted woodwork in cream, stone or muted green. It also works well in a room that needs a lively traditional note without losing the freshness of the linen ground.
Use to add a lively, traditional accent with plenty of character.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Casimir Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
