Tamarind Tomato/Olive
Chilgrove FabricF4889-03
Tamarind Tomato/Olive shows a dense trailing floral pattern on a pale ground, with warm red blooms, olive stems and accents of blue-green. The result feels lively and traditional, but softened by the linen base.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, this Chilgrove colourway is shown as a patterned fabric with a crisp, natural handle and a lively printed surface. The design repeats in a vertical 62cm half-drop with an approximate 89cm horizontal repeat, and the 134cm width gives good scope for larger upholstered pieces or statement curtains. In this colourway, tomato red flowers read warm and saturated against the soft ground, while the olive branches and stems keep the overall effect grounded rather than sugary. Small touches of teal, terracotta and ochre add depth, making the pattern feel richly layered without looking heavy.
How to use it
Use it on an occasional chair, ottoman or full-length curtains where the tomato red can bring warmth to a pale room. It pairs particularly well with chalky neutrals, aged wood and muted green accents that echo the olive detailing.
The warm tomato red and olive vines give this linen a lively, historic feel.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tamarind Tomato/Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
