Perseus Stone
Chilgrove FabricF4348-03
Perseus Stone presents a softened, tapestry-like geometric pattern in a pale stone ground, lifted by faded taupe, grey and delicate blue-green accents. The overall effect is quietly antique and layered, with the motif reading clearly without feeling sharp or high contrast.

About this fabric
This colourway of Chilgrove in Perseus Stone has a gentle mineral base, with the pattern softened into chalky beige, warm grey and washed-out blue tones that sit close together rather than standing apart. The fabric is composed of 49% viscose, 26% linen, 8% polyester and 17% cotton, and its 136cm approx width makes it practical for a broad range of furnishing uses. The repeat is V 56cm / H 136cm approx, giving the design a large-scale, panel-like rhythm across the cloth. Its visible texture feels refined rather than heavy, with enough body for upholstery but an elegant enough surface for drapery as well.
How to use it
Use it to bring pattern to calm, neutral schemes where the stone ground can temper darker woods or brass details. It would look especially good beside textured plains, weathered oak and soft blue-grey accents.
A muted, painterly neutral that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Perseus Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
