About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool stone taupe, with a pale grey-beige cast that stays quiet rather than creamy or warm. The velvet pile gives it a smooth, gently brushed look, and the light skims across the surface to reveal soft tonal movement. Made from 100% polyester and rated to 30,000 Martindale, it is suited to contract upholstery where a durable plain velvet is needed. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and can be wiped clean or professionally dry cleaned in situ according to the pattern book guidance.

How to use it

Use Stone on a tailored sofa, banquette or occasional chair to add softness without introducing strong colour. Its cool neutral tone pairs neatly with oak, chalk white, black accents and layered greys.
