About this fabric

Part of the Vintage Velvet collection by J Brown, this plain velvet is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use. It has a Martindale rating of 30,000, making it a practical choice for hard-working seating and other busy interior applications. The Praline colourway reads as a dark, earthy brown with muted warmth, and the fine nap gives it a gently mottled depth rather than a flat finish. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is also wipeable or can be professionally dry cleaned in situ, with further care guidance available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Praline on statement sofas, banquettes or headboards where a rich brown velvet will feel calm and tailored. It pairs especially well with tan leather, smoked oak and warm brass for a grounded, layered scheme.
