Palermo Bark

Palermo Fabric18

Palermo Bark reads as a muted, earthy brown with an olive cast and a softly mottled surface. The close plain weave gives it a grounded, textural look rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

This Palermo colourway is made from 100% polyester and is suitable for general domestic use, with a Martindale rating of 25,000. The fabric has a compact plain structure that appears slightly heathered in the image, giving the bark-brown base a gentle olive warmth and a subdued, lived-in finish. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and machine washable at 30 degrees or suitable for professional dry clean in situ. The overall effect is practical and understated, with enough texture to keep the colour from feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use Palermo Bark on a sofa, dining chair or banquette where you want a dark neutral that feels warmer than charcoal. It works especially well with tan leather, aged brass and deep green accents.

A quietly versatile earthy neutral that softens modern seating and layers easily with timber or leather.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
