About this fabric

This plain velvet in the Vintage Velvet collection has a dense, tactile look that suits contract upholstery beautifully. The 100% polyester composition and 30,000 Martindale rubbing test make it a practical choice for hard-working seating, while the supplied back coating to Cigarette & Match BS5852 supports contract use. In this colourway, the brown is warmed by a muted cinnamon undertone, so it feels earthy rather than blackened or flat. The pile catches the light in fine horizontal movement, giving the surface depth and a slightly worn-in elegance. Wipeable care or professional dry cleaning in situ helps keep the fabric looking smart in regular use.

How to use it
