About this fabric

This plain velvet has a dense, plush finish that reads as deep copper-brown with golden undertones, giving the surface a warm, luminous shift as it moves in the light. The 100% polyester composition and 30,000 Martindale rub test make it a practical choice for contract upholstery, while the back-coated Cigarette & Match to BS5852 fire rating supports specified projects. Its wipeable or professional in situ dry-clean care also suits busy interiors where the fabric needs to keep its rich appearance. The visible texture is smooth rather than lofty, with subtle horizontal shading that adds movement without pattern.

How to use it

Use this shade on statement dining chairs, banquettes, or a tailored sofa where its copper warmth can glow against walnut, bronze, or dark painted finishes. It also works well with deep green or ink-blue accents for a moody, layered scheme.
