Marble Velour Spice

Misc Fabric

Marble Velour Spice is a deep, glowing velour with a warm burnt-orange base and darker russet shadows that give the surface real depth. The pile catches the light in mottled patches, creating a rich, almost ember-like finish.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied in 100% polyester and has a width of 145cm, with a 145cm pattern repeat and care instruction NQT1<. The short, velvety surface reads as dense and tactile, with a mottled colour movement that shifts from toasted amber highlights to deeper spice and umber tones. It feels warm rather than bright, and the sheen sits low and plush so the colour looks particularly rich in changing light. The large repeat means the abstract surface effect is a key part of the design, especially across bigger upholstery pieces.

How to use it

Use this burnt spice colourway to bring warmth to darker woods, aged brass and tobacco leather, where its velour finish will add softness and contrast. It works especially well on a statement chair or ottoman in a room with earth-toned neutrals.

A rich, plush tone that adds warmth and depth to compact seating or accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
