About this fabric

Monsoon Indigo from Fryett's Fabrics is a 145cm-wide fabric in 20% cotton and 80% recycled polyester, with a 3.5cm pattern repeat. The cloth shows a compact staggered motif of short rectangular dashes, woven in deep indigo, softened blue-grey and muted tan on a light ground. Its texture reads as lightly tactile rather than flat, which helps the darker marks stand out without feeling heavy. The overall effect is fresh and tailored, with the blue tones coming through clearly but still restrained by the pale background. Care is 1<NQT.

How to use it

Use this colourway on cushions, dining chairs or a slim bench seat where the small repeat can add interest without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and brushed brass.

Pairs well with pale linen tones and warm timber for a crisp, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
