Matisse Rosso

Misc Fabric

Matisse Rosso pairs a deep burgundy ground with winding leaf shapes in soft taupe, beige and warm brown. The design feels bold and autumnal, with the red leaves giving the pattern its strongest visual rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in a 62% polyester and 38% viscose blend, Matisse Rosso has enough body to suit upholstery while still keeping a softer textile feel. The 140cm width and 50.5cm pattern repeat make it practical for larger seating projects where the leaf trail can be matched neatly across panels. Visually, the fabric combines a textured brown ground with matte, leaf-shaped forms in burgundy and neutral tones, creating a layered, organic look. The colourway reads warm and grounded rather than bright, with the darker red accents adding contrast without overpowering the design.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, banquette or accent cushions where the burgundy leaves can lift a neutral room. It works especially well with walnut wood, aged brass and soft linen shades.

A rich, grounded red that brings warmth and depth to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
