Inca Rosso

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Inca Rosso shows a layered, jagged abstract pattern in saturated reds, burgundy and earthy brown with flashes of pale neutral weave. The surface reads textured and substantial, giving the colourway a rich, dramatic presence.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied in a 140cm width and has a 31cm pattern repeat, which suits the bold horizontal rhythm visible across the swatch. The 100% polyester composition gives the design a practical textile base, while the pattern itself appears dense and woven with a tactile, slightly rugged finish. In this colourway, the reds are deep and wine-like rather than bright, with darker maroon areas adding depth and the lighter threads lifting the design just enough to define the motif. The overall effect is warm, moody and decorative, with enough structure in the weave to feel more tailored than delicate.

How to use it

Pair Inca Rosso with espresso wood, bronzed metal and plain linens in taupe or stone to balance the intensity of the red. It works well as a statement upholstery fabric in a room that needs colour and pattern without feeling overly glossy.

Use with warm neutrals or dark woods to let the rich red pattern stay centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
