Highclere Peony

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Highclere Peony pairs a soft cream ground with a neat diamond trellis and small painterly floral motifs. The rose-pink blooms and muted green leaves give the design a fresh, gently traditional feel.

About this fabric

Woven as a 137cm-wide fabric with a 23.5cm vertical pattern repeat, Highclere Peony has a balanced, easy-to-place scale that keeps the repeat visible without feeling overpowering. The composition of 53% polyester, 20% cotton, 15% linen and 12% viscose suggests a practical decorative cloth with a lightly textured handle and a clean finish. Visually, the colourway is restrained and airy: a warm ivory ground, blush pink lattice lines and soft sage-green foliage with a pale blue-grey accent beneath each floral motif. The result is a delicate trellis pattern that reads calm rather than sugary, with the embroidery-style outlines giving the surface a little depth and definition.

How to use it

Use it where you want a light, tailored floral that won’t crowd a room: dining chairs, bedroom cushions or relaxed curtains. Its cream-and-pink palette sits especially well with painted whites, pale timber and muted green accents.

A pretty trellis floral that feels fresh and elegant on a calm cream ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
