About this fabric
This fabric is woven in 18% Cotton Chenille, 47% Cotton and 35% Polyester, giving it a soft handle with a visibly structured surface. The 140cm width makes it suitable for a range of upholstery projects, while the 2.5cm pattern repeat keeps the diamond motif tight and regular. In this colourway, the red reads as dark and wine-like, with subtle brown undertones that soften the overall effect. The texture catches the light just enough to lift the pattern without losing the fabric’s deep, grounded tone. Care is NQT1<, so it is best treated as a specialist upholstery textile.
How to use it
Use Orpheus Red to add warmth and depth to a sofa, ottoman or dining chair, especially against walnut, brass or dark painted wood. Its deep red tone also pairs neatly with velvet cushions, camel leather and muted neutrals.
