About this fabric

This Fryett's Fabrics design is a 100% polyester fabric with a 145cm width and a 51cm vertical by 36cm horizontal pattern repeat. The swatch shows a pale, natural ground threaded with bold floral stems, leaf clusters and rounded medallion blooms in crimson, terracotta, blush, taupe and olive. The overall effect is warm and decorative rather than heavy, with the darker stem outlines giving the pattern crisp definition against the lighter base. Its woven texture adds a subtle slubbed feel that softens the saturated reds and keeps the colourway from reading too formal. Care instructions are listed as 1<BVQ.

How to use it

This colourway suits a chair, ottoman or cushions where its crimson notes can lift linen, stone or soft grey interiors. It also works well with timber and aged brass, where the warm taupe ground and leaf tones feel settled rather than stark.

Use it on a feature chair or statement cushions to bring warm, lively colour to a neutral scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
