About this fabric

This fabric is supplied as 100% Cotton + PVC Coating and measures 132cm wide, with an 8cm pattern repeat and Wipe Clean Only care. The swatch shows a classic tartan grid in brick red over a cream and taupe ground, with the red lines reading slightly softened rather than bright. Its surface looks sturdy and slightly matte, so the check feels honest and utilitarian rather than glossy or decorative. The medium-scale repeat makes the pattern sit clearly on upholstered pieces without overwhelming the room.

How to use it

Use this red tartan on a country-style armchair, bench seat or kitchen banquette where the warm check can add character. It also works well alongside natural wood, oatmeal linens and painted cabinetry for a relaxed, traditional scheme.
