About this fabric

This woven floral fabric shows rounded bordeaux-red flowers with golden centres, linked by slender olive-green stems and leaves across an ivory ground. The pattern has a clear vertical trail, with a 31cm repeat and 16.8cm horizontal repeat that suits statement upholstery panels as well as tailored soft furnishings. Its 63% cotton, 28% viscose and 9% linen composition gives the cloth a dry, textural look that feels more grounded than glossy. At 137cm wide, it offers practical coverage for larger pieces while keeping the design crisp and readable.

How to use it

The warm red and olive palette sits neatly with oak, aged brass and natural linens, giving a room a more settled country-house feel. It works especially well on an accent chair or cushion set where the bordeaux flowers can add colour without overpowering the space.

Use it for characterful upholstery or relaxed curtains where the warm red blooms can stand out against the pale ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
