About this fabric

Woven in 63% Cotton, 28% Vis and 9% Linen, this 137cm-wide fabric has a clearly defined 31cm vertical by 16.8cm horizontal repeat. The cloth reads as a mid-weight textile with enough body for upholstery, while still being suitable for drapery in a relaxed scheme. In this colourway, the cornflower tone is muted and slightly powdery, with the foliage leaning more slate-blue than bright denim. The small white flowers and yellow centres lift the pattern and keep the overall effect light rather than heavy.

How to use it

Use Lyndhurst Cornflower on an occasional chair, bench or roman blind where the cool blue trail can sit against oak, chalky paint or soft greys. It works especially well in rooms that need pattern without strong contrast.

Pair with warm neutrals or pale wood to let the cool blue trail pattern stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
