About this fabric

Woven in a 63% Cotton, 28% Vis and 9% Linen blend, Lyndhurst Peony has the lightly textured handle you would expect from a natural-feel decorative fabric. The 137cm width and 31cm vertical by 16.8cm horizontal repeat make the floral trail easy to plan across curtains, cushions or light upholstery pieces. In this colourway, the ground reads creamy and gently warm, while the leaves sit in a soft, dusty sage that keeps the pink blossoms from feeling sugary. The small rosette flowers add a little detail without overpowering the room, so the overall effect stays calm and cottage-like. Care code BQW1< should be followed when specifying or cleaning this fabric.

How to use it

Use it where you want a soft pink accent that still feels grounded, such as a bedroom chair, bench cushion or full-length curtains in a light-filled room. It works especially well with limewashed walls, weathered wood and muted greens.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the blush flowers and sage leaves stay fresh and airy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lyndhurst Peony without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
