Matsu Dove

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Matsu Dove shows a soft dove-beige ground with delicate botanical stems and small clustered leaves in muted taupe-grey. The overall effect is calm and airy, with just enough pattern definition to give the fabric interest without feeling busy.

About this fabric

This fabric is made from 86% polyester and 14% viscose, with a width of 143cm and a 61cm pattern repeat. The visible finish is lightly textured and gently lustrous, which helps the dove-beige background catch the light while the slim branch motif stays soft and understated. The printed foliage sits in a taupe-grey palette that reads cooler than cream and warmer than grey, making the colourway feel balanced and easy to place. Its medium-scale botanical repeat gives it presence on larger items without overpowering a room, and the composition suggests a practical fabric with a refined look.

How to use it

Use Matsu Dove to soften upholstered dining chairs, a headboard or tailored curtains where its pale neutral ground can brighten the room. It pairs especially well with warm woods, linen whites and muted sage accents.

A quiet floral with enough body for curtains or relaxed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Matsu Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
