Matsu Ochre
Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric
Matsu Ochre shows a branching botanical trail in soft ochre yellow over a light, gently lustrous ground. The pattern feels airy rather than dense, with the fine dark stems giving the design clear definition.

About this fabric
This fabric is composed of 86% polyester and 14% viscose, with a 143cm width and a 61cm pattern repeat. In this colourway the leaves read as mellow ochre, lightly warmed rather than bright, so the design feels sunlit and relaxed. The slender stems and scattered flower clusters sit against a pale base with a subtle woven sheen that catches the light softly. It is a versatile decorative cloth that can work for cushions, curtains or light upholstery where a botanical print with warmth is wanted. Care instructions are NQT1<.
How to use it
Use Matsu Ochre to bring a gentle golden note into neutral schemes, especially alongside oak, linen and aged brass. It also works well with olive, stone and chalky cream where the ochre tone can stay soft and refined.
Pair with warm woods and quiet neutrals to let the ochre leaves shine.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Matsu Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
