Serpa Cornflower

Plains & Semi Plains Fabric

Serpa Cornflower shows a finely textured blue surface with a cool, slightly mottled finish. The colour reads as a softened cornflower shade rather than a bright primary blue, giving it a calm, tailored look.

About this fabric

This colourway has a small-scale, all-over texture that catches the light with a gentle, speckled effect across the surface. The cornflower tone is cool and muted, with a greyed cast that keeps it understated rather than vivid. Woven in 64% Polyester 36% Cotton, it has a balanced handle suited to everyday interiors, and the 137cm width makes it practical for a range of making-up uses. The 35.5cm pattern repeat is relatively measured, helping the texture feel consistent and easy to place.

How to use it

Use Cornflower to add a fresh, crisp note to neutral upholstery, especially alongside pale oak, chalk white or soft charcoal. It also works well in rooms that need colour without brightness, thanks to its quiet blue-grey depth.

A cool blue that works neatly on upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
