Stria Ochre

Misc Fabric

Stria Ochre shows a muted ochre ground crossed with soft, pale horizontal bands that keep the stripe feeling calm rather than bold. The finish reads lightly textured and matte, with a gentle vertical slub catching the light in the weave.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Stria Ochre is a practical fabric with a 137cm width and a 0cm pattern repeat, making the stripe easy to work with across made-to-measure projects. The colourway sits in a subdued ochre-gold register, warmed by olive undertones and lifted by faint silvery-grey bands that give the design a measured, almost sun-faded rhythm. Fine vertical texture runs through the ground, adding depth without disturbing the clean horizontal stripe effect. The result is a versatile fabric with enough presence for upholstery, yet a soft enough surface for drapery too.

How to use it

Pair this ochre stripe with natural woods, putty neutrals and soft grey accents for a layered, understated scheme. It works especially well where you want warmth from the ground colour but a crisp, tailored line from the pale stripes.

Use the warm ochre ground to soften the cool grey stripes and keep the look grounded.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Stria Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
