Stria Ochre

Misc Fabric

Stria Ochre pairs a muted ochre ground with pale horizontal striping for a calm, easygoing look. The woven surface has a dry, slightly textured feel that keeps the stripes looking crisp rather than bold.

About this fabric

This fabric is a 100% polyester textile with a 137cm width and a 0cm pattern repeat, making the stripe layout straightforward to work with. In this colourway, the ground reads as a subdued ochre-brown with a soft, earthy cast, while the pale stripes sit quietly across the surface. The weave shows fine vertical flecks and a linen-like texture, giving the cloth a casual character without looking rough. Because the pattern is built from broad horizontal bands rather than a dense motif, it feels open and steady rather than busy.

How to use it

Stria Ochre works well on relaxed armchairs, bench seats, or simple curtains where its warm, muted tone can soften darker woods. Pair it with cream, tobacco leather, or aged brass to echo the fabric’s earthy stripe contrast.

Use for relaxed upholstery or curtains where the soft ochre stripes can add easy warmth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
