About this fabric

The surface reads as bark brown with a muted taupe cast, while faint vertical tonal variation adds understated texture across the cloth. At 300gsm, it has the presence of a versatile mid-weight fabric rather than a fine, fluid drapery cloth. The usable width is 144cm and the standard length is 35m. With a 0cm vertical and 0cm horizontal repeat, its plain appearance can be positioned without pattern matching.

How to use it

Use Alvar Bark to bring warm, grounded depth to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, or pair it with softly contrasting neutrals for relaxed curtains. Its muted brown tone works especially well alongside oatmeal, stone, charcoal and aged timber.
