Amalfi Espresso

Amalfi FabricCCF0327-23

Amalfi Espresso appears as a deep, earthy brown with a charcoal cast, its close woven surface broken by fine tonal threads. The image shows a quiet plain rather than a printed motif, allowing the colour’s subdued depth to lead.

About this fabric

At 370 gsm, Amalfi Espresso has the visual density expected of a substantial upholstery textile. Its 137 cm usable width makes the closely woven brown cloth practical for covering larger furniture panels, while the softly irregular surface adds tactile interest without introducing a separate pattern. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so the plain construction requires no motif matching. In the swatch, espresso brown shifts gently between warm and smoky notes as the weave catches the light, giving dark furniture a composed, understated finish.

How to use it

Use Amalfi Espresso on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its dark, smoky brown tone can anchor pale walls, natural oak and warm stone. Pair it with rust, tobacco or muted olive accents to draw out the warmer threads in the weave.

Use this deep espresso brown as a grounding upholstery shade against warm timber, stone and softly contrasting neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
