About this fabric

The swatch shows a rich chocolate-brown ground with subtle lighter and darker shifts across the surface, creating depth without introducing a pattern. Its close, softly brushed texture catches the light unevenly, giving the fabric a plush, low-sheen appearance. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it has the substance associated with upholstery fabric. The supplied 35 m standard length and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat make it straightforward to plan across larger upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Alvar Chocolate on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm brown depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm ivory, aged timber and muted brass for a cocooning, quietly luxurious scheme.
