About this fabric
This fabric is woven in 100% BCI Cotton and comes 138cm wide, with a 38cm vertical repeat and a 71cm horizontal repeat. The surface reads as a dark, muted brown with low contrast, so the damask detail appears soft and shadowy rather than showy. In the image, the pattern sits almost tone-on-tone, giving the cloth a textured, aged look that feels refined and calm. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where the emphasis is on natural cotton character and a restrained decorative effect.
How to use it
Use this truffle shade on a formal armchair, sofa cushions or full-length curtains where you want pattern to emerge subtly rather than dominate. It pairs well with warm oak, tobacco leather and aged brass for a grounded, tailored room.
A dark, understated damask that works well in tailored schemes and adds quiet depth.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bordeaux Plain Truffle without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
