Bordeaux Plain Taupe

Eco -Friendly Ranges Fabric

Bordeaux Plain Taupe has a soft mushroom-taupe ground with a gentle matte sheen and an understated raised pattern that only shows when the light catches it. The finish feels calm and refined rather than stark, giving the surface a quiet depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% BCI Cotton, this fabric is 138cm wide and has a 38cm vertical by 71cm horizontal repeat. In this colourway, the design reads as a muted mushroom taupe with slightly warmer beige undertones, softened by the textured jacquard surface. The low-contrast pattern sits discreetly across the cloth, so the motif is visible without dominating the overall look. It feels tailored and versatile, with enough body for upholstery and enough visual interest to hold on drapery.

How to use it

Use this taupe as a grounding neutral with warm oak, linen and aged brass, or pair it with deeper brown and olive accents for a layered, tonal scheme. The restrained colour makes it especially effective where you want pattern without strong contrast.

A quiet taupe jacquard that works well on tailored upholstery or understated drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
