Bordeaux Plain Navy

Eco -Friendly Ranges Fabric

Bordeaux Plain Navy is a deep, inky blue with a quietly textured surface that softens the overall look. The swatch reads as a refined navy rather than a bright blue, with a low-key depth that feels calm and tailored.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% BCI Cotton, this fabric has a natural, clothlike handle and a gently mottled surface that adds interest without introducing a formal pattern. The 138cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, while the 38cm vertical and 71cm horizontal repeat suggests a larger-scale design structure beneath the plain-looking finish. In this colourway, the navy is dark and cool-toned, with subtle tonal variation that catches the light in a soft, almost brushed way. It feels steady and smart rather than stark, giving the fabric a quieter richness than a flat midnight blue.

How to use it

Use this navy to ground pale woods, crisp whites, or muted greys, where its depth will sharpen the room without feeling harsh. It works especially well on tailored upholstery or layered drapery when you want a composed, city-smart finish.

A dark, versatile navy that brings depth and polish to classic interiors.

Pairs well with

Bordeaux Plain Navy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
