Lophura Navy

A Celebration of the National Trust FabricSAF0335-02

Lophura Navy pairs a deep, inky blue ground with birds, blossoms and branching foliage in soft antique tones. The result is a handsome, heritage-style fabric with strong contrast and plenty of movement.

About this fabric

This fabric is catalogued as a 252 gsm textile with a usable width of 141 cm, making it a substantial decorative cloth rather than a delicate sheer. The image shows a rich navy ground with a lightly worn, painterly finish, which helps the olive foliage, cream flowers and russet accents stand out clearly. Large-scale birds and branching stems give the design a bold rhythm across the cloth, while the 38 threads per cm help keep the printed detail crisp. With a vertical repeat of 74 cm and a matching horizontal repeat of 141 cm, this is a pattern designed for a full scenic effect across wide drops or deep upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use it where the navy ground can sit against warm wood, brass or painted cream for a polished, traditional look. It works especially well on statement chairs, window seats or full-length curtains where the large motif can breathe.

A richly detailed navy botanical that suits classic schemes with a tailored edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
