Pretty Ponies Chintz/Blue places delicate, pastel-coloured ponies across a pale powder-blue ground. The horses are filled with tiny floral details, giving the repeat a light, storybook quality.

About this wallpaper

The pale powder-blue ground gives this colourway a cool, airy base rather than a deep blue backdrop. Each pony is formed from a dense chintz-like scatter of small flowers in soft pink, blue, cream and muted yellow, with open blue space between the figures. At 146 gsm, the supplied weight is light, while the 45.7 cm vertical repeat establishes the rhythm of the galloping and rearing horses. The wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and comes in a standard 10.05 m length.

How to use it

Use this cool blue colourway in a child's bedroom, playroom or relaxed country interior, balancing the pastel ponies with crisp white, blush pink and pale timber. Its airy ground keeps the large-scale repeat feeling gentle rather than visually heavy.

Pair the cool powder-blue ground with white, blush pink and pale blue furnishings for a soft, playful scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pretty Ponies Chintz/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
