About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from A Celebration of the National Trust is a 252gsm cloth with a usable width of 140 cm, making it a substantial mid-weight option for interior schemes. The print shows cream swallows and sweeping sea lines across a richly saturated navy ground, with the contrast giving the design a clean, maritime edge. A pattern repeat of 61.5 cm vertically and 70 cm horizontally supports the broad movement of the motif, which is especially visible in the layered waves and birds in flight. The woven surface has a lightly textured look that softens the navy and keeps the cream pattern feeling crisp rather than harsh.

How to use it

Use this navy colourway on curtains or a statement armchair where you want the cream motif to read clearly against a darker backdrop. It works well with white-painted joinery, pale woods, and other coastal blues for a layered, tailored scheme.

A crisp coastal print that brings movement and contrast to tailored interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
