What's New Fabric

San Sebastian Indigo is a densely patterned fabric with a small-scale leaf motif set against a cool indigo ground. The design reads intricate and quietly textured, with pale foliage details lifting the darker blue base.

About this fabric

Woven in 54% viscose, 26% cotton and 20% polyester, this 145cm-wide fabric has an 18cm vertical by 17.5cm horizontal repeat. The swatch shows a tightly packed leaf trail in soft ivory and beige tones over a muted indigo ground, giving the design a layered, almost embroidered look. The colourway feels cool and restrained rather than bright, with the darker blue settled into the background and the lighter motif catching the eye. With no performance features noted and care code NQT1<, it is a good choice where a decorative finish is more important than hardwearing specification.

How to use it

This indigo version works well in smart schemes with oak, stone, and linen colours, where the pale leaf motif can add movement without overpowering the room. It would also bring depth to drapery or upholstered accent pieces in a calm, tailored interior.

Use with pale timber and warm neutrals to let the indigo leaf pattern stand out.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside San Sebastian Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
