San Sebastian Dove

What's New Fabric

San Sebastian Dove shows a softly layered botanical stripe in pale dove grey and deeper charcoal tones. The pattern has a gentle vertical movement that feels calm and tailored rather than busy.

About this fabric

Woven in 54% viscose, 26% cotton and 20% polyester, San Sebastian Dove has a supple, upholstery-friendly handle that still suits curtains and blinds. The 145cm width makes it practical for broader projects, while the 18cm vertical and 17.5cm horizontal repeat creates a balanced, regular rhythm across the cloth. Visually, this colourway is a cool, low-contrast mix of misty grey ground and darker leaf forms, with just enough tonal variation to keep the design alive in daylight. The overall effect is refined and understated, with the botanical motif reading almost like a textured shadow pattern.

How to use it

Use San Sebastian Dove on a tailored armchair, banquette, or roman blind where the soft grey palette can sit quietly against oak, stone, or painted white finishes. It is especially effective in rooms that need pattern with a restrained, architectural feel.

A muted grey botanical that works beautifully when you want pattern without strong contrast.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside San Sebastian Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
