About this fabric

Woven at 275 gsm with a usable width of 140 cm, this Sanderson fabric has enough substance to sit neatly on upholstery while still being suitable for drapery. The check reads in muted pebble, taupe and soft grey tones, with the lighter ground giving the design a lifted, natural look rather than a heavy tartan effect. Its 17.5 cm vertical repeat and 18.5 cm horizontal repeat create a balanced grid that feels orderly and easy to live with. The weave appears slightly textured and woolly, which adds warmth and a relaxed country-house character to the colourway.

How to use it

Use this restrained pebble check on an armchair, ottoman or bench where its muted tone can soften clean lines. It also works well at the window in rooms with limestone, oak or painted joinery, where the grey-beige palette will feel especially natural.

A calm, versatile check that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and easy window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
