Byron Wools FabricSAF0089-06

Milton Cherry/Biscuit is a softly brushed check with warm biscuit ground tones and fine cherry-red linework. The overall effect is muted and inviting, with a gentle woolly texture that softens the grid.

About this fabric

Part of Sanderson’s Byron Wools collection, this fabric has a usable width of 140 cm, a 50 m standard length, a 17.5 cm vertical repeat and an 18.5 cm horizontal repeat. At 275 gsm, it sits in a reassuring mid-weight range that suits both upholstery and drapery use. The visible surface has a slightly napped, wool-rich look, giving the biscuit squares a grounded, matte finish while the cherry lines add a precise touch of colour. The palette reads as warm beige, cream and muted red, with a restrained country feel rather than a high-contrast tartan.

How to use it

Use it on a pair of armchairs, a window seat, or relaxed curtains where the biscuit base can keep the room light. It pairs especially well with painted wood, natural oak, and soft off-whites.

A softly brushed check that works well on country chairs, blinds, or tailored cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Milton Cherry/Biscuit without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
