About this fabric

At 297gsm, this fabric has a visible crosshatched woven texture that adds subtle depth beneath the printed-looking foliage. Its warm ivory ground is marked by muted charcoal-brown leaves and fine stems, giving the colourway a softer, warmer reading than a stark black-and-white design. The botanical repeat measures 31.5cm vertically by 32cm horizontally, across a usable width of 137cm. Each standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Fairford Charcoal to bring a gentle botanical note to an ivory, taupe or warm-grey room, with charcoal detailing to echo the leaves. Its textured neutral ground works equally well on a relaxed occasional chair or as softly structured curtains.

A tactile woven botanical in warm ivory and charcoal, suited to relaxed upholstery or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
