Bibury Midnight

Avebury FabricCCF0246-06

Bibury Midnight pairs a warm ivory ground with loose, ink-dark navy tracery that scatters across the surface like hand-drawn looping stems. Its lightly textured woven face keeps the high-contrast pattern feeling relaxed rather than stark.

About this fabric

This 343 gsm textile has a visible fine woven texture, with the darker navy marks sitting clearly against the soft cream background. The small-scale abstract pattern has a 31 cm vertical repeat and 32 cm horizontal repeat, creating lively but relatively even coverage across upholstery or curtains. At 137 cm usable width, it offers practical flexibility for made-to-measure applications. The warm ivory tone softens the near-black navy accents, giving Bibury Midnight depth without the cooler, harder effect of a pure white ground.

How to use it

Use Bibury Midnight to lighten a navy, charcoal or walnut scheme with its warm ivory base, or upholster a relaxed occasional chair where the looping dark marks can be seen up close. It also works well as a coordinating curtain or cushion fabric when paired with plain cream textiles.

The warm ivory ground and ink-dark navy tracery bring an easy, graphic contrast to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bibury Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
