About this fabric

Fairford Natural places softly brushed taupe stems and feather-like leaves over a pale, warm ivory ground; the low-contrast palette keeps the botanical drawing airy rather than sharply graphic. A fine vertical slub is visible across the ground, while the textured leaf marks add tactile variation. At 297gsm and 137cm usable width, this mid-weight fabric is suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design repeats every 31.5cm vertically and 32cm horizontally, so the scattered branches need considered matching across a finished piece.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground to soften a neutral sitting room, pairing it with oatmeal, stone and pale taupe upholstery or curtains. Its muted feathered branches bring gentle movement without introducing a strong contrast.

A warm ivory-and-taupe botanical for relaxed upholstery, curtains and softly layered neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
