About this fabric

The warm natural ground has a lightly crosshatched woven texture, with illustrated pots and branching plants picked out in muted taupe, soft brown, ivory and a touch of earthy rust. Its 356 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstery. The fabric has a 137 cm usable width and a 40 m standard length, while the pattern repeats every 47 cm vertically and 42 cm horizontally. Against the pale ground, the botanical motifs remain understated rather than high-contrast, preserving the relaxed feel of this colourway.

How to use it

Use Hidcote Natural on a relaxed armchair, footstool or occasional seat where its warm oatmeal background can soften stronger wood tones. Pair it with chalky paint, natural timber and muted brown or terracotta accents to draw out the warmer botanical details.

A substantial natural-toned woven for relaxed upholstery, with softly sketched potted plants adding gentle character.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hidcote Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
