Hidcote Duckegg

Avebury FabricCCF0273-04

Hidcote Duckegg pairs a very pale, cool blue-green ground with delicate potted-plant motifs. Sage, olive, yellow-green and muted ochre details give the botanical design gentle definition without making the colourway feel busy.

About this fabric

The 356gsm textile has a softly striated woven ground, visible behind four spaced botanical arrangements including leafy stems, a hanging planter and small potted plants. Its pale duckegg tone reads almost chalky in the light, while the green foliage and fine ochre outlines add restrained contrast. With a useable width of 137cm, a 47cm vertical repeat and a 42cm horizontal repeat, the design can be planned across panels or upholstery with its individual motifs clearly separated. The 40m standard length makes it practical for coordinated schemes, and the substantial mid-weight handle suits both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Hidcote Duckegg on a relaxed armchair, headboard or Roman blind against warm ivory walls, allowing the sage and yellow-green foliage to connect with fresh, leafy accents elsewhere in the room.

Use the cool duckegg ground to soften traditional upholstery or bring a light botanical accent to curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
