Astraea Midnight is a deep, cool navy woven with a finely broken surface of pale taupe and grey flecks. The close, irregular markings create a softly mottled appearance rather than a single flat blue.

About this fabric
The dark midnight ground is layered with small horizontal and irregular flecks, giving the cloth a textured, almost atmospheric depth as the lighter yarns catch the eye. Its 332gsm weight and 20 threads per centimetre indicate a substantial, closely constructed woven fabric suited to upholstery. The usable width is 140cm, with a 24cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat to consider when matching the design. Astraea Midnight is supplied in a standard 35m length.
How to use it
Use this cool midnight navy on a sofa, headboard or dining chair where its pale flecking can soften the depth of the blue; pair it with chalky neutrals, smoked timber and brushed metal for a refined scheme.
The dark navy ground and fine contrasting flecks bring graphic depth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.
