About this fabric
This Clarke & Clarke fabric is 140 cm wide and weighs 332 gsm, giving the visibly dense weave a substantial feel suited to upholstery. The surface is formed from very fine, broken horizontal marks, with darker threads and occasional warm flecks adding depth across the teal. Its pattern repeat is 24 cm vertically by 35 cm horizontally, although the small-scale texture reads as an all-over woven effect at a distance. The 20 threads-per-centimetre construction supports the compact, richly mottled appearance visible in the swatch.
How to use it
Use Astraea Teal on a tailored sofa, dining chair or ottoman where its cool blue-green depth can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, charcoal accents and warm brass or tan details to draw out the weave’s subtle brown flecks.
