About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke fabric has a compact, tactile weave formed from tiny irregular pebble-like marks, creating a dark charcoal-to-ebony surface with a softly matt appearance. At 360 gsm and 140 cm wide, it has the substance suited to upholstered furniture. The pattern repeat measures 28 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, although the close tonal contrast keeps the design visually restrained. With 24 threads per centimetre, the surface reads as densely woven rather than open or loosely textured.

How to use it

Use Castus Ebony on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its near-black tone can anchor lighter timber, stone or warm metallic accents. The subtle woven texture will add depth to a dark scheme without competing with stronger patterns.
