About this fabric

Part of the Carrera collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale and back coating to Cigarette & Match to BS5852. The Hessian colourway appears as a muted beige with a slightly chalky, natural-looking cast, giving it the feel of a calm, easy neutral rather than a stark cream. Across the swatch, the weave shows fine horizontal texturing and a softly broken surface that catches the light without looking shiny. It is also noted as professional clean in situ or washable at 40℃, with further care guidance available from the pattern book. Other treatments are available upon request.

How to use it

Use Carrera Hessian on contract upholstery where a warm, understated neutral is needed to soften harder architectural finishes. It pairs especially well with pale oak, stone, and taupe accents, where its quiet texture adds depth without drawing focus.
