Carrera Lime

Carrera Fabric13587

Carrera Lime reads as a shimmering yellow-green with a warm, metallic cast and a subtly striated plain weave. The close-up surface catches the light unevenly, giving the colour a lively depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Part of the Carrera collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use. The cloth is shown as a warm lime-gold tone, with fine diagonal texture and soft horizontal striations that make the surface feel tailored and slightly lustrous. Its 80,000 Martindale rating supports demanding seating applications, while the supplied back coating gives cigarette and match resistance to BS5852. After care is straightforward for a contract textile, with professional in-situ cleaning or washing at 40℃ available, subject to the pattern book instructions. The overall effect is bright but controlled, making the colourway feel more refined than acidic.

How to use it

This shade works well on statement chairs, dining seats and compact banquettes where its golden lime tone can add warmth without looking heavy. Pair it with walnut, black metal or pale stone finishes to balance the sheen and keep the room feeling sharp.

Use to add a bright, polished lift to contemporary seating or contract banquettes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
